Shirley Temple Drink Recipe

A Shirley Temple is a classic non-alcoholic drink made with grenadine, ginger ale, and a splash of soda, topped with maraschino cherries. Perfect for kids and adults alike!

Equipment

  • Highball or Collins glass

Ingredients
  

  • 1 –2 tablespoons grenadine syrup
  • 1 cup ginger ale or lemon-lime soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Splash of club soda optional
  • Maraschino cherries for garnish
  • Orange slice optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Glass:
  • Fill a highball or Collins glass with ice cubes.
  • Add Grenadine:
  • Pour the grenadine syrup over the ice. Adjust the amount based on your sweetness preference.
  • Pour the Ginger Ale:
  • Slowly pour the ginger ale into the glass, allowing the grenadine to mix slightly. For a lighter version, add a splash of club soda.
  • Stir and Garnish:
  • Gently stir to combine the flavors. Top with one or two maraschino cherries and, if desired, a slice of orange for a colorful garnish.
  • Serve:
