Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts) Can use any nut of your choice.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup Sweetener of your choice.
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (e.g., almond butter, peanut butter) Can substitute with sunflower seed butter for a nut-free option.
  • 1/2 cup dried fruits (e.g., cranberries, raisins) Choose your favorite dried fruits.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, nuts, and salt. Stir until mixed.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix honey (or maple syrup), nut butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with dry ingredients, add dried fruits, and mix until combined.
  5. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, pour in the mixture, and press down firmly.
Baking
  1. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
  2. Allow to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before lifting the parchment paper out and cutting into bars.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Can be frozen wrapped in plastic wrap for up to three months.
