      Ingredients

      • 1 lb (450 g) Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
      • 2 tbsp olive oil
      • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
      • 1/2 tsp salt
      • 1/4 tsp black pepper
      • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze or honey (optional, for finishing)
      • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

      Equipment

      • Air fryer
      • Mixing bowl
      • Measuring spoons
      • Knife and cutting board

      Instructions

      1. Prepare the Brussels Sprouts:
Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Remove any loose outer leaves.

      2. Season the Sprouts:
Place the halved Brussels sprouts in a mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.

      3. Preheat the Air Fryer:
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.

      4. Air Fry the Brussels Sprouts:
Place the Brussels sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the sprouts are golden brown and crispy on the edges.

      5. Finish and Serve:
Remove the sprouts from the air fryer and drizzle with balsamic glaze or honey for a hint of sweetness. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired. Serve immediately while warm and crispy.

      Tips

      • Avoid overcrowding: Cook in batches if needed to ensure the sprouts crisp up evenly.
      • Add flavor: Experiment with seasonings like smoked paprika, chili flakes, or a squeeze of lemon juice for a zesty kick.
      • Reheating: To reheat, air fry for 3-4 minutes at 350°F (175°C) to restore crispiness.
