Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef or turkey, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped parsley, egg, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.
- Take a small amount of the meat mixture (about 1-2 tablespoons) and flatten it in your palm. Place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center, then fold the meat around the cheese to form a ball. Make sure the cheese is completely enclosed.
- Arrange the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they have enough space between them for even cooking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and golden brown.
- Serve the Zesty Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs hot with marinara sauce on the side for dipping or spoon over cooked pasta!
