Option 1: Pan-Seared White Fish
Prepare the fish:
Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix the garlic powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Rub this seasoning mixture onto both sides of the fish.
Heat the skillet:
Heat olive oil or butter in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Cook the fish:
Place the fish fillets in the skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is golden brown and flakes easily with a fork.
Serve:
Remove from the skillet and serve with lemon slices and your choice of garnish.
Option 2: Baked White Fish
Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season the fish:
Place the fish fillets on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush them with olive oil or melted butter and sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly on top.
Bake:
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Serve:
Transfer to a plate and serve with lemon slices and garnish.
