- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of instant pudding mix with 2 cups of cold milk. Whisk vigorously until well combined and thickened, about 2 minutes.
- Once the pudding has thickened, add 1 container of Cool Whip and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Using a spatula, gently fold the Cool Whip into the pudding.
- If you desire a sweeter frosting, feel free to add a bit of powdered sugar at this stage, adjusting to your taste.
- Allow the frosting to chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before using.
- Once chilled, scoop it onto your favorite dessert and enjoy.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and best enjoyed within 3-4 days. Can be frozen for up to a month; thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
