- In a medium bowl, combine the instant pudding mix and cold milk. Whisk until the pudding begins to thicken, about 2 minutes.
- Gently fold in the thawed Cool Whip using a spatula. Be careful not to deflate the Cool Whip.
- (Optional) Stir in the vanilla extract to enhance the flavor.
- You can use the frosting immediately, or chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes for a firmer texture.
- Spread the frosting over your cakes, cupcakes, or any dessert of your choice.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For best results, give a gentle mix before using if it has been sitting for a while. Not suitable for freezing.
