Vegetables and Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Red onion, sliced Optional topping.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Sprinkle over pizza before baking.
  • Olive oil for brushing Brush on crust for extra flavor.
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish Add before serving for freshness.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out your pizza dough on a clean, floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  3. In a frying pan over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat. Add crumbled turkey sausage and continue to cook until browned. Remove from heat.
Assembly
  1. Evenly spread the pizza sauce across the rolled-out dough, leaving about half an inch at the edges.
  2. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
  3. Add the cooked ground beef, turkey sausage, and grilled chicken evenly across the pizza. You can also add sliced red onions if desired.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the entire pizza.
  5. Shake Italian seasoning over the top and lightly brush the edges of the crust with olive oil.
Baking
  1. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Add fresh basil leaves for an extra touch before serving!

Notes

If you're short on time, store-bought dough works just fine! Customize it with your favorite meats or different cheeses like cheddar or provolone. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days and reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
