  1. Grab a mixing bowl and place your softened cream cheese and butter inside. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, blend them together until smooth and creamy—about 2 minutes.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar to the bowl, ensuring it doesn’t fly everywhere! Mix on low speed until fully incorporated into the cream cheese and butter mixture.
  3. Add in the vanilla extract and milk. Increase the mixer speed and beat for an additional minute until everything is well-blended and velvety. If you prefer a thinner icing, feel free to add a little more milk.
  4. Dip a small spoon in and give it a taste! Adjust sweetness or vanilla according to your preference.
  5. Once your cinnamon rolls are slightly cooled, generously slather this icing on top!

For optimal results, ensure butter is softened and feel free to chill icing to thicken it. Experiment with toppings for a special touch!
