Ingredients

For the Filling
  • 1 can crescent rolls (8 oz)
  • 1/2 cup cooked shrimp, chopped Use fresh or well-thawed seafood for best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup crab meat, shredded
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese Use your choice of cheese.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh herbs like parsley for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure even baking.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, crab meat, cream cheese, shredded cheese, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  3. Open the can of crescent rolls and separate each triangle. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Take about a tablespoon of the filling and place it at the wider end of each crescent triangle. Roll the dough around the filling, starting from the wider edge to the point, pinching the edges to seal them well.
  5. Place the stuffed crescent bombs in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 12-15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and puffed.
  6. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve warm and garnish with fresh herbs if desired!

Notes

Top Tips: Use fresh seafood for best flavor, feel free to modify the filling with different seasonings or vegetables, avoid overstuffing to prevent leakage, and watch the bake time carefully for a perfect golden color.
