  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by peeling and deveining your shrimp, and chop your broccoli and bell pepper.
Cooking the Rice
  1. Prepare your jasmine rice according to package instructions and set it aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, mix together the honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce. Stir until well combined, and set aside.
Cooking the Shrimp
  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
Adding Vegetables
  1. Toss in the broccoli and bell pepper, continuing to cook until the vegetables are tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
Combining Sauce
  1. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the shrimp and veggies. Stir to coat everything well, cooking for another couple of minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
