Step 1: Cook the Meat
Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the ground beef and Italian sausage, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 7–8 minutes.
Drain excess grease, leaving about 1 tablespoon in the pan.
Step 2: Sauté the Veggies
Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté for 2 minutes, until fragrant.
Add the broccoli florets and cook for another 3–4 minutes, until slightly tender.
Step 3: Make the Alfredo Sauce
Lower the heat to medium-low and stir in the butter, heavy cream, Parmesan, and cream cheese.
Stir constantly until the cheeses melt and the sauce becomes smooth.
Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
Step 4: Combine & Serve
Stir the cooked meat back into the skillet, coating everything in the Alfredo sauce.
Let simmer for 2–3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella (if using) and let it melt.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
