Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Wings
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray for extra crispiness

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the wings with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Lightly spray the wings with olive oil spray.
Cooking
  1. Bake the wings for 25 minutes.
  2. Flip the wings and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
Coating
  1. While baking, mix the barbecue sauce and honey in a bowl.
  2. Once the wings are done baking, toss them in the BBQ-honey mixture until fully coated.
Serving
  1. Let the wings rest for a few minutes, then serve hot.

Notes

For extra crispiness, bake the wings on a wire rack set in the baking sheet. You can also experiment with different types of BBQ sauce.
