Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, toss the wings with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Lightly spray the wings with olive oil spray.
Cooking
- Bake the wings for 25 minutes.
- Flip the wings and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
Coating
- While baking, mix the barbecue sauce and honey in a bowl.
- Once the wings are done baking, toss them in the BBQ-honey mixture until fully coated.
Serving
- Let the wings rest for a few minutes, then serve hot.
Notes
For extra crispiness, bake the wings on a wire rack set in the baking sheet. You can also experiment with different types of BBQ sauce.
