Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 6 pieces chicken thighs (skin-on, bone-in) Optimal flavor
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like parsley or thyme), for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels, then season with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, brown sugar, olive oil, and minced garlic.
  4. Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the glaze over them, ensuring each piece is well coated.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  2. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  3. Garnish with fresh herbs for an extra touch.

Notes

Marinate the chicken for extra flavor if time allows. Adjust sweetness by modifying the amount of brown sugar used. Boneless thighs can be used for faster cooking. Letting the chicken rest after cooking ensures a moist and tender dish. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
