Ingredients
  

For the salmon
  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (approximately 6 ounces each) Choose fresh salmon for best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning Adjust the spice level to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper
For the avocado lime sauce
  • 1 ripe avocado Fresh and ripe for best texture.
  • 2 limes Juice of 2 limes Freshly squeezed for flavor.
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup Greek yogurt (or sour cream) Creamy base for the sauce.
  • to taste Chopped fresh cilantro Optional, for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place your salmon fillets skin-side down.
Seasoning
  1. In a small bowl, mix the Cajun seasoning with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Rub this mixture generously onto the salmon fillets.
Baking
  1. Place the seasoned salmon in the oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Making the Sauce
  1. While the salmon bakes, scoop the avocado into a blender.
  2. Add lime juice, minced garlic, Greek yogurt, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy, adjusting with water if too thick.
Serving
  1. Once the salmon is ready, plate it and drizzle the avocado lime sauce over it.
  2. Garnish with chopped cilantro for extra flavor.

Notes

Consider meal prepping the avocado sauce in advance. Store in an airtight container. For best flavor, avoid microwaving leftovers.
