Preparation
- Start by rinsing your chicken tenders under cold water and patting them dry with a paper towel.
- In a bowl, mix the honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Taste and adjust according to your preference.
- Place the chicken tenders in a shallow dish, pour the marinade over them, and ensure they are well-coated. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- If using breadcrumbs, place them on a separate plate. After marinating, coat each chicken tender in the breadcrumbs.
Cooking
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- If using the oven, arrange the tenders on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
- If using a skillet, cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until crispy.
Serving
- Transfer the tenders to a serving dish and drizzle extra sauce over the top if desired.
Notes
For best results, marinate the tenders overnight for enhanced flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) to maintain crispiness.
