  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen) If using frozen blueberries, do not thaw.
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
  7. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently, then pat down to about 1-inch thick.
  8. Use a biscuit cutter or glass to cut out biscuits.
  9. Place the biscuits on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
  10. Let the biscuits cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For substitutions, use whole wheat flour for half of the all-purpose flour and honey or maple syrup instead of sugar. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or freeze for up to 3 months.
