Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or gluten-free alternative)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes Adjust for spice level
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for garnish fresh cilantro or parsley Optional

Method

Marination
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, olive oil, crushed red pepper flakes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Add the chicken thighs and ensure they are well-coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes or longer if time permits.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Once sizzling, add the marinated chicken thighs. Cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side until they develop a golden-brown crust and are cooked through.
Glazing
  1. Once cooked, pour any leftover marinade over the chicken in the pan. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and glaze the chicken.
Serving
  1. Remove the chicken from heat. Slice or serve whole, garnished with fresh cilantro or parsley if desired. Enjoy with your favorite sides!
