- Gather Your Ingredients: Start by collecting all the key components you’ll need to make your Super Easy Sourdough French Bread.
- Mix the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Then, add the sourdough starter and lukewarm water. Stir with a wooden spoon until the mixture forms a shaggy dough.
- Knead the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it is elastic.
- First Rise: Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 2 hours at room temperature.
- Shape and Second Rise: Deflate the dough, shape it into a loaf, and let it rise for about 1 hour.
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Bake: Score the top of the loaf and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.

Store in a paper bag at room temperature for up to 2 days. Freeze for up to 3 months and reheat at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
