Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets and sliced carrots. Drizzle with olive oil and toss until evenly coated.
  3. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper over the veggies. Toss again to ensure they are well seasoned.
  4. Spread the seasoned vegetables on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Roasting
  1. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for about 20 minutes, shaking the vegetables halfway through.
  2. Once they’re tender and golden brown, remove from oven and add optional toppings like lemon zest, sesame seeds, or Parmesan cheese.

  1. Serve immediately while warm.
