  • 100 g salami, sliced
  • 100 g turkey breast or halal pepperoni, sliced
Fresh Fruits
  • 1 cup grapes
  • 1 piece apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup mixed berries
Nuts
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
Olives
  • 1 cup mixed olives
Crackers or Breadsticks
  • 1 packet assorted crackers
Small Edible Cups
  • 12 pieces mini cones or small tortilla cups
Fresh Herbs (Optional for Garnish)
  • a few sprigs rosemary or parsley optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by arranging your mini cones or tortilla cups on a large serving platter.
  2. Begin layering cheese cubes and slices inside each cup: use a cheddar cube, a slice of brie, and a slice of turkey or halal pepperoni.
  3. Tuck in grapes, slices of apple, and berries in each cup.
  4. Add nuts and olives around the fruits inside the cups.
  5. Insert a few crackers or breadsticks into the cups.
  6. Garnish with a sprig of fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Substitutions can include other Halal-friendly meats or cheeses. Make these cups just before serving for best results.
