Ingredients
  

Cookie Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened Make sure the butter is softened, not melted.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour Sifted together with other dry ingredients.
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips Consider using Halal-certified alternatives for a Halal-friendly option.
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped Wash and chop thoroughly for even distribution.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy and well-combined (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Crack the two large eggs into the bowl and pour in the vanilla extract. Mix until well-blended.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  6. Fold in the white chocolate chips and chopped strawberries until evenly distributed.
  7. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, place the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving adequate space between each cookie.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden-brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before transferring them to a serving platter.

Notes

Store leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months. For reheating, microwave for 10-15 seconds.
