Strawberry Smoothie Recipe
This strawberry smoothie is a creamy, refreshing, and naturally sweet drink. Packed with fresh strawberries and other wholesome ingredients, it’s the perfect breakfast or snack!
- 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries hulled
- 1 ripe banana fresh or frozen
- ½ cup plain or vanilla yogurt or dairy-free yogurt
- ½ cup milk dairy or non-dairy, like almond, oat, or soy milk
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional, for added sweetness
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract optional, for extra flavor
- ½ cup ice optional, for a thicker and colder smoothie
Prepare the ingredients:
If using fresh strawberries, hull them (remove the green tops) and chop them into halves or quarters. Peel the banana.
Blend the smoothie:
Add the strawberries, banana, yogurt, milk, honey (if using), and vanilla extract into the blender. For a thicker smoothie, add ice cubes.
Blend until smooth:
Blend on high for 30-60 seconds, or until everything is smooth and well-combined. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add a little more milk to achieve your desired consistency.
Serve:
Pour the smoothie into a glass or cup and enjoy immediately!
