Strawberry Lemonade Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound 16 oz fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice about 6–8 lemons
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • 4 cups cold water divided
  • Ice cubes optional
  • Fresh strawberry slices and lemon wedges for garnish

  • Citrus juicer

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Strawberry Purée:
  2. In a blender, combine the strawberries and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
  3. Strain the purée through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds, if desired.
  4. Juice the Lemons:
  5. Use a citrus juicer to extract 1 cup of fresh lemon juice from the lemons.
  6. Mix the Lemonade Base:
  7. In a large pitcher, combine the strained strawberry purée, lemon juice, and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
  8. Add Water:
  9. Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and stir well. Adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or water, if necessary.
  10. Serve:
  11. Fill glasses with ice cubes (optional) and pour in the strawberry lemonade.
  12. Garnish with fresh strawberry slices and lemon wedges for a festive touch.
