Strawberry Lemonade Recipe
Refreshing and naturally sweet, this strawberry lemonade combines fresh strawberries, tart lemons, and just the right amount of sweetness. Perfect for summer days or any time you need a cool drink.
- 1 pound 16 oz fresh strawberries, hulled
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice about 6–8 lemons
- ¾ cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
- 4 cups cold water divided
- Ice cubes optional
- Fresh strawberry slices and lemon wedges for garnish
Prepare the Strawberry Purée:
In a blender, combine the strawberries and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
Strain the purée through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds, if desired.
Juice the Lemons:
Use a citrus juicer to extract 1 cup of fresh lemon juice from the lemons.
Mix the Lemonade Base:
In a large pitcher, combine the strained strawberry purée, lemon juice, and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
Add Water:
Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and stir well. Adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or water, if necessary.
Serve:
Fill glasses with ice cubes (optional) and pour in the strawberry lemonade.
Garnish with fresh strawberry slices and lemon wedges for a festive touch.
