Strawberries and Cream Recipe

This classic strawberries and cream recipe is a simple yet elegant dessert. With sweet, ripe strawberries and fresh whipped cream, it's a perfect treat for any occasion.

  • Serving bowls or glasses

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh strawberries hulled and halved
  • 1 cup heavy cream chilled
  • 2-3 tbsp powdered sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract optional
  • Fresh mint leaves optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Prepare the Strawberries
  • Wash and hull the strawberries, then slice them in half or quarters depending on size.
  • Set aside in a bowl.
  • Step 2: Whip the Cream
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract (if using).
  • Whip the cream using a hand mixer or whisk until soft peaks form. Be careful not to overwhip—it should be fluffy and light.
  • Step 3: Assemble and Serve
  • Divide the strawberries into serving bowls or glasses.
  • Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
