Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the ziti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir in the chopped fresh spinach until well blended.
- Add the cooked ziti and 1 cup of marinara sauce to the bowl with the spinach mixture. Stir gently to combine everything together.
Baking
- In a baking dish, spread a layer of the remaining marinara sauce on the bottom. Pour the ziti and spinach mixture over the sauce. Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serving
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your homemade Spinach Ziti straight from the oven!
