  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken (preferably Halal)
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup buffalo hot sauce choose your preferred level of heat
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese ensure it's Halal
  • 1/4 cup sour cream Halal-friendly
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tortilla chips or fresh vegetable sticks for serving

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cottage cheese, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, and sour cream. Use a spatula to mix until everything is well-combined.
  2. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until it’s nicely incorporated.
  3. Taste the mixture and add salt and pepper based on your preference.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the dip to an oven-safe dish and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.
  6. Once out of the oven, sprinkle chopped green onions on top for garnish and serve with tortilla chips or veggies!

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute low-fat cottage cheese and sour cream. Avoid lumps by mixing thoroughly. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge, and you can freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the oven at 350°F until warmed through.
