Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let rest for about 5 minutes until foamy.
- Stir in melted butter and eggs into the yeast mixture until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
- Transfer the dough onto a floured surface. Knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-1.5 hours until doubled in size.
- Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 12 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Cover the rolls with a cloth and let rise again for 30-40 minutes until puffy.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown on top.
- Once baked, brush the tops with more melted butter and let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For reheating, place in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
