Ingredients

Dough Ingredients
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm milk (110°F) Ensure milk is warm but not hot for activating yeast.
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast Check expiration date for freshness.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted More melted butter for brushing on top after baking.
  • 2 large eggs

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let rest for about 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Stir in melted butter and eggs into the yeast mixture until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
  4. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface. Knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-1.5 hours until doubled in size.
  6. Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 12 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball and place them in a greased baking dish.
  7. Cover the rolls with a cloth and let rise again for 30-40 minutes until puffy.
  8. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown on top.
  9. Once baked, brush the tops with more melted butter and let them cool slightly before serving.
