  • 4 large large apples (Granny Smith or Fuji) Choose a variety that balances sweetness and tartness.
  • 1 cup chopped Snickers bars About 4-5 fun-sized bars.
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup whipped topping Like Cool Whip.
  • ½ cup vanilla yogurt Optional, for an extra creamy texture.
  • ¼ cup crushed peanuts or other nuts Optional, for added crunch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash and core the apples, then chop them into bite-sized pieces, leaving the skin on for added color and nutrition.
  2. Chop the Snickers bars into small chunks.
Mixing
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped apples, Snickers pieces, and mini marshmallows.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the whipped topping and vanilla yogurt until creamy.
  3. Pour the dressing over the apple and Snickers mixture and gently fold until coated.
Chilling
  1. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
Serving
  1. Scoop into serving dishes and sprinkle with crushed peanuts if desired, then serve.

Notes

Letting the salad sit overnight allows flavors to deepen. It can be made nut-free by omitting nuts. Storage: Best enjoyed fresh; keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days, but do not freeze.
