Equipment

  • High-speed blender
  • Measuring cups
  • Knife and cutting board (if using fresh fruit)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen fruit choose your favorite: strawberries, mango, blueberries, or a mix
  • 1 small banana
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt optional for creaminess
  • 1 tbsp honey or agave syrup optional for sweetness
  • 1/4 cup orange juice or water to thin, as needed
  • 1 scoop protein powder or collagen powder optional for added nutrition
  • Ice cubes optional for a thicker texture

Instructions

  • Prepare the ingredients:
  • Gather all your ingredients. If using fresh fruit instead of frozen, add a handful of ice cubes to the blender for a chilled smoothie.
  • Add ingredients to the blender:
  • Start by adding the almond milk and orange juice (or water) to the blender. This helps the blending process. Then, add the frozen fruit, banana, Greek yogurt, and optional protein powder or sweetener.
  • Blend until smooth:
  • Blend on high speed for 1–2 minutes, or until the smoothie is completely smooth and creamy. Add more liquid if needed for a thinner consistency.
  • Taste and adjust:
  • Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness or thickness to your preference. Add more honey, almond milk, or ice if desired.
  • Serve:
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately. Garnish with fresh fruit or a sprinkle of granola for a finishing touch if desired.
