Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, mashed banana, chia seeds, smoked paprika, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well blended.
- Make sure there's no clump of chia seeds at the bottom—our goal is a nice, smooth texture!
Chilling
- Transfer the mixture into two or more jars or airtight containers. Seal them tightly and place in the refrigerator. Let them chill and sit overnight (or at least for 4 hours) to allow the oats and chia seeds to expand.
Serving
- In the morning, give it a good stir before serving. Decorate the top with sliced banana, drizzle with honey, and a sprinkle of nuts for added crunch.
- Dive in and savor the delightful flavors!
Notes
These oats can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to a month and thaw in the fridge overnight. To enjoy warm, heat on the stovetop for a few minutes.
