  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Taco seasoning
  • 1 cup Smoked cheddar cheese, shredded
Toppings
  • 1 can Black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup Salsa
  • to taste Fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • to taste Jalapeños, sliced, for garnish
For Serving
  • Tortilla chips For serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning until smooth.
  2. Gently fold in the shredded smoked cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
  3. Spread the mixture out evenly onto a serving platter or in a large serving bowl.
  4. Evenly distribute the black beans on top of the cream cheese mixture, pressing gently for adhesion.
  5. Pour the salsa over the black beans, and consider adding more smoked cheddar cheese if desired!
  6. Decorate your dip with sliced jalapeños and chopped fresh cilantro for a pop of flavor and color.
  7. Serve immediately with a generous side of tortilla chips for dipping. Enjoy your delightful taco experience!

Notes

To enhance flavors, use room temperature ingredients for easier mixing. Feel free to customize the heat level with jalapeños or milder salsa.
