Preparation
- In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper. Sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the chili paste and soy sauce, coating the chicken evenly. Allow the mixture to cook for another minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
- In a separate pot, prepare the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Once the chicken is fully cooked and the broth has slightly thickened, add the sliced bell peppers and cooked noodles to the skillet, stirring to combine.
- Drizzle the sesame oil over the mixture and give it a final toss to coat everything evenly.
- Spoon the fiery chicken ramen into bowls, garnish with chopped green onions, and add soft-boiled eggs if using.
Notes
Adjust the spice level as desired. Try adding different vegetables for variety and make sure to garnish for added flavor.
