Preparation
  1. Pat your chicken breasts dry with paper towels for maximum browning.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture all over the chicken breasts to infuse them with flavor.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
  2. Carefully place the chicken breasts into the hot skillet. Let them cook for about 6-7 minutes without moving them to create a nice sear.
  3. Once one side is golden brown, flip the chicken and lower the heat to medium. Continue to cook for another 6-7 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  4. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) using a meat thermometer.
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  6. Serve garnished with fresh herbs and lemon wedges.

Notes

Don't overcrowd the pan to ensure proper searing. Allow the chicken to rest for juicier bites. Experiment with spices to match your taste.
