- Pat your chicken breasts dry with paper towels for maximum browning.
- In a small bowl, mix the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture all over the chicken breasts to infuse them with flavor.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
- Carefully place the chicken breasts into the hot skillet. Let them cook for about 6-7 minutes without moving them to create a nice sear.
- Once one side is golden brown, flip the chicken and lower the heat to medium. Continue to cook for another 6-7 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) using a meat thermometer.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve garnished with fresh herbs and lemon wedges.
