Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, pepper, egg, and chopped parsley. Mix until everything is well incorporated.
- With your hands, take about a tablespoon of the mixture and form it into balls, about the size of a golf ball. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Once all meatballs are formed, pop them into the preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and slightly golden.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, over pasta, or inside a sandwich!
Notes
For best results, avoid overmixing to keep meatballs tender. Consider adding a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick. Prepare and freeze meatballs before cooking if desired. Experiment with herbs or cheeses for different flavors. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days, or freeze for up to three months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
