- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and in another skillet, sear them over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Once the chicken is seared, remove from the heat. In a baking dish, add the caramelized onions followed by the seared chicken. Pour the broth over everything.
- Sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese on top of the chicken and onions, ensuring it’s well-covered.
- Place the dish in the oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden.
- Add a final touch of fresh thyme or Italian seasoning before serving. Enjoy your meal!
