Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the cabbage into thick steaks, about 1-inch thick.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Brush both sides of the cabbage steaks generously with the seasoning mixture.
Cooking
- Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are spaced out.
- Roast in the preheated oven for about 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, remove the steaks from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
- Enjoy them as is, or top with your favorite sauces or fresh herbs.
Notes
Experiment with different seasonings like cumin or chili powder. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for about a month. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes to maintain texture.
