  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Start by slicing your onion and mincing the garlic. If you buy whole sausages, slice them into bite-sized pieces.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced sausage to the hot oil, cooking until it’s browned and cooked through, usually about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Toss in the sliced onion and minced garlic. Stir frequently and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant.
  4. Gradually add the shredded cabbage to the skillet, stirring often. Cover it for a minute to help it wilt, then keep stirring for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Season the mixture with salt and pepper according to your taste preferences.
  6. Once everything is cooked to perfection, take it off the heat and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, avoid overcrowding the pan, cook in batches if necessary, and feel free to substitute the sausage type according to preferences.
