Ingredients
  

For the Salmon
  • 4 pieces salmon fillets Choose fresh fillets for best flavor.
  • 2 pieces lemons (juiced and zested)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill (chopped) Alternatively, use 1 tablespoon of dried dill.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Gently rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, chopped dill, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Pour the marinade over the fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let sit for about 10 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is opaque in the center.
Serving
  1. Remove salmon from the oven and garnish with additional fresh dill and lemon slices if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 300°F (150°C) for about 10 minutes to retain moisture.
