Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound fresh green beans trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese or a squeeze of lemon juice for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  • Prepare the Green Beans:
  • Rinse and trim the ends of the green beans. Pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel to ensure they roast properly.
  • Season the Beans:
  • In a mixing bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  • Arrange on Baking Sheet:
  • Spread the green beans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even roasting.
  • Roast:
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, tossing halfway through, until the green beans are tender with slightly crispy edges.
  • Garnish (Optional):
  • Sprinkle with grated Parmesan or drizzle with lemon juice before serving for added flavor.
