Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and cut it into thick slices, around 1-inch thick.
- Lay out the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
- Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Ensure each steak is evenly coated.
Cooking
- Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, checking at the 20-minute mark for doneness.
- Remove from oven once tender and slightly charred.
Serving
- Drizzle with your choice of optional toppings and serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days in the refrigerator. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes before serving.
