Ingredients

Burrito Ingredients
  • 4 large large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend) Choose your favorite cheese blend.
  • 1 cup cooked and seasoned ground beef or beans Use ground beef or beans as per preference.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream For a creamy addition.
  • 1/2 cup salsa For a zesty kick.
  • Butter For grilling.

Method

Preparation
  1. Prepare the Filling: Cook and season the ground beef or ensure the beans are soft and well-seasoned.
  2. Assemble the Burritos: Lay a tortilla flat, sprinkle 1/2 cup of shredded cheese in the center, add ground beef or beans, then a spoonful of sour cream and salsa.
  3. Wrap It Up: Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it up tightly from the bottom, tucking in the ends.
  4. Grill the Burrito: Heat a skillet over medium heat with butter. Place the burrito seam-side down in the skillet and grill for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and repeat.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm with additional salsa and sour cream.

Notes

Consider substituting low-fat cheese or whole wheat tortillas for a healthier option. Don’t overfill to avoid mess.
