Preparation
- Lay the flour tortillas flat on a clean surface.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese on one side of each tortilla.
- If you're adding any optional ingredients, layer them on top of the cheese.
- Gently fold the tortillas over, covering the cheese and toppings, and press them down.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Carefully place the folded burritos into the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Serving
- Remove the burritos from the skillet, slice them in half, and serve immediately.
- Optionally, garnish with extra toppings or sauces as desired.
Notes
For a crispier burrito, lightly brush the outside with more butter before grilling. Don’t overfill to prevent spills during cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
