  • 1 tablespoon butter For grilling.
Optional Add-ins
  • to taste diced tomatoes Great for added freshness.

  • to taste sautéed peppers For added flavor and texture.
  • to taste salt and pepper Season to preference.

Method

Preparation
  1. Lay the flour tortillas flat on a clean surface.
  2. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese on one side of each tortilla.
  3. If you're adding any optional ingredients, layer them on top of the cheese.
  4. Gently fold the tortillas over, covering the cheese and toppings, and press them down.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Carefully place the folded burritos into the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Serving
  1. Remove the burritos from the skillet, slice them in half, and serve immediately.
  2. Optionally, garnish with extra toppings or sauces as desired.

Notes

For a crispier burrito, lightly brush the outside with more butter before grilling. Don’t overfill to prevent spills during cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
