  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter Use unsalted butter for the best flavor.
  • 10 oz mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup Oreo cookies, crushed Plus extra for garnish.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Optional for extra flavor.

Preparation
  1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter completely.
  2. Once the butter is melted, add the mini marshmallows to the pan, stirring constantly until they are fully melted and combined with the butter.
  3. If using vanilla extract, stir it into the melted mixture for enhanced flavor.
  4. Remove the pan from heat and add the Rice Krispies cereal. Stir gently until all the cereal is coated with the marshmallow mixture.
  5. Fold in the crushed Oreos, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  6. Grease a 9x13-inch pan. Transfer the mixture into the pan and use a spatula to press it down firmly and evenly.
  7. Sprinkle extra crushed Oreos on top for a decorative touch.
  8. Allow the Treats to cool completely before cutting into squares. Enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3 to 5 days or freeze for longer storage. Allow to thaw at room temperature before serving.
