  • 8 oz Shrimp (peeled and deveined) Fresh or frozen.
  • 4 oz Crab meat Canned or fresh.
  • 1 cup Mushrooms (sliced) Any type of mushrooms work.
  • 3 cups Fresh spinach Can substitute with other leafy greens.
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced) Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 cup Heavy cream For a lighter sauce, consider half-and-half.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated) Freshly grated for the best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley (chopped)

Method

Preparation
  1. Cook the Ravioli: Start by cooking the ravioli according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Seafood: In a large pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink. Add the crab meat and continue to cook for an additional 2 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. Sauté the Vegetables: In the same pan, add the garlic and sliced mushrooms. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until the mushrooms are tender. Stir in the spinach and cook until wilted.
  4. Make the Cream Sauce: Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, allowing it to simmer gently. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Combine Everything: Add the cooked ravioli and seafood back into the pan. Gently toss everything together, ensuring the ravioli is coated in the luscious sauce.
  6. Serve: Plate your ravioli generously, garnishing with fresh parsley. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For the best flavor, use fresh ingredients whenever possible! Keep an eye on your cooking times, especially for the shrimp, as they can become rubbery if overcooked. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
