Ingredients

For the Patty
  • 1 lb ground beef Use halal-certified beef if required.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
For Assembly
  • Burger buns (halal-certified)
  • Toppings (lettuce, tomato, cheese, etc.) Customize as per preference.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Divide the meat mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties about ¾ inch thick. Create a slight indentation in the center of each patty to allow for even cooking.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Place the patties into the basket in a single layer, ensuring they don’t touch.
  2. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through until they reach your desired doneness.
Assembly
  1. Once cooked, transfer the patties to burger buns and add your favorite toppings. Enjoy!

Notes

For lighter options, feel free to use halal-certified ground chicken or turkey. Avoid overworking the meat to keep the burgers tender. Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness at 160°F (71°C) for beef. Add crispy onions or pickles for extra crunch.
