Ingredients

For the Patties
  • 1 lb Ground beef Choose at least 80% lean for the best balance of flavor and juiciness.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder Adds that savory kick.
  • 1 tsp Onion powder Intensifies the flavor and aroma.
  • 1 tsp Salt Essential for bringing out all the delicious notes.
  • 1 2 tsp Black pepper A touch of spice to round it off.
For Assembly
  • 4 pieces Burger buns Any type you prefer—whole wheat, gluten-free, or traditional.
  • to taste Toppings (optional) Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese, and your favorite sauces.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined — over mixing can lead to a tough burger!
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties about ¾ inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center to help them cook evenly.
Cooking
  1. Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it heat for about 5 minutes.
  2. Place the patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they’re not touching. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping them halfway through until they reach your desired level of doneness.
Assembly
  1. While the patties cook, prepare your buns and toppings. After the burgers are ready, place them on the buns and let everyone customize their meal just the way they like.

Notes

For best results, choose fresh, high-quality ground beef. Don't overwork the meat when mixing the ingredients to avoid a dense burger. You can refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days or freeze them for up to 2 months.
