Method
Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 pound of ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, black pepper, and salt. Mix well until all spices are evenly distributed.
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Using your hands, form the beef mixture into small, even-sized patties or crumbles, depending on your preference.
Cooking
- Place the patties or crumbles in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they aren’t overcrowded. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to allow even cooking.
- Ensure the ground beef reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) before removing it from the air fryer.
Serving
- Once cooked, garnish with chopped cilantro or parsley and serve with your favorite toppings.
Notes
Feel free to swap out spices based on your taste preferences. To avoid sticking, ensure your air fryer is well preheated and do not overcrowd the basket. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in the air fryer for about 5 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
