  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. Mix well.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Pour this into the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.
  3. Lightly flour a clean surface and knead the dough gently for about 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  4. Roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch thickness and use donut cutters to cut out your donuts.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
Cooking
  1. Place the donuts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, cooking them in batches if necessary.
  2. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Let them cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes
