- In a large blender, combine the coconut milk, evaporated milk, and sweetened condensed milk. Blend until well mixed for a creamy base.
- Next, add the sweetened cocoa powder, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg to the blender. Blend again until all the ingredients are evenly combined and smooth.
- Give your Chocolate Coquito a taste! If it needs more sweetness or flavor, you can adjust the cocoa or spices according to your preference.
- Pour the mixture into a pitcher and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to meld the flavors.
- When ready to serve, stir well and pour into glasses. Garnish with toasted coconut if desired.
Notes
For a lighter version, use light coconut milk or almond milk. Experiment with flavors like a dash of chili powder for an interesting twist. Allowing Coquito to chill longer enhances the flavors.
